Softball Swept in AMCC Games of the Week at Behrend

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona softball team continued on the road Saturday, when the Lions were dealt a sweep in a doubleheader with Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend at Behrend Field.

Penn State Behrend (22-8, 10-0 AMCC) posted a 5-2 victory in game one, then dealt Penn State Altoona (13-14, 6-6 AMCC) a 13-5 loss in game two of a doubleheader that was designated as the AMCC Games of the Week.

ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women's basketball team returned home Saturday afternoon, and the Lions had their four-game win streak snapped in a 71-61 loss to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend at Adler Arena.

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's swimming team extended their dual meet winning streak to three, as they defeated non-conference opponent Lebanon Valley College, 142-42, Friday night in the Arnold Sports Center.

Penn State Altoona notched 11 first places during the meet to earn its sixth dual meet win of the season. The Lions won both of the meet's relay events, while seven Lion swimmers combined for nine first places in individual events.
